ARENOMICS INSTITUTE
Version 1.0 · applies to registrations made through arenomics.institute

Privacy notice — early interest registration

How ARENOMICS Institute processes the information you provide when registering early interest in Mandate Engineering — Foundation: purpose, data, retention, withdrawal and contact.

Who is responsible

The operator responsible for this registration facility and for the information it collects is: Steven Alber, acting in his personal capacity as initiator and operator of ARENOMICS Institute. ARENOMICS Institute is an independent initiative in development and not a separately incorporated company; no company or other legal entity acts as controller. Privacy enquiries: research@arenomics.institute.

What this notice covers

This notice applies to the early interest registration form for Mandate Engineering — Foundation on arenomics.institute and to the information you send with it. It does not cover e-mail correspondence you choose to send separately.

Purpose

Managing expressions of interest and communicating developments concerning ARENOMICS Institute educational programmes. Your information is not used for any other purpose, is not sold and is not used for advertising.

Basis for processing

Your explicit consent, given by ticking the consent box. Consent is voluntary; you may withdraw it at any time with effect for the future. Where the data-protection law of your country requires a named legal basis, the basis relied on is your consent; no other basis is used.

Information collected

Required: full name, e-mail address, country, preferred communication language, consent (with the version of this notice and the time of consent). Optional, only if you provide it: profession or background, organisation, primary learning interest, participation preference. Technical: a salted one-way hash of your network address (abuse prevention only; the address itself is not stored), a shortened browser identifier, the page language and the time of submission. No account, password, payment or identity-document data is requested.

Where and how it is stored

Records are stored in a Cloudflare D1 database and processed by Cloudflare Workers operated for the Institute. Cloudflare, Inc. acts as infrastructure provider (processor); submissions pass through Cloudflare Turnstile for human verification. No other processor is used: the confirmation is shown on screen, and no confirmation e-mail is sent. If a transactional e-mail service is introduced later, this notice will be re-issued with a new version number naming it.

International processing

Cloudflare operates a global network; your information may therefore be processed outside your country of residence. The register is held in a single Cloudflare D1 database; administrative access is exercised by the operator from his place of work, currently in South-East Asia.

Retention

Registrations are kept while Mandate Engineering — Foundation is in development and through its first enrolment period, and in any case for no longer than 24 months after submission; they are then anonymised. A withdrawn registration is anonymised within 30 days of the request. Requests for access, correction or deletion are answered within 30 days. Withdrawn registrations are retained without further contact until deletion; deleted registrations are anonymised (name, e-mail and background removed) and a reference-only tombstone is kept for audit of the register.

Your choices and rights

You may at any time ask to see the information held about you, correct it, withdraw your consent, withdraw your registration or have your personal data deleted. Write to research@arenomics.institute from the registered e-mail address, quoting your reference number. Any further rights that the law of your country gives you, including the right to complain to a supervisory authority where one exists, are unaffected.

Security and access

Submissions are sent over HTTPS, validated server-side, protected by Turnstile and rate limiting, and stored with access restricted to authenticated Institute administrators. Access to records is logged. No credentials or applicant records are exposed through public endpoints.

Changes

This notice is versioned. The version you consented to is recorded with your registration. Material changes will be published here with a new version number.
